Phone Tak Boleh Charge? Punca & Cara Baiki (Bila Port Rosak)

By August 10, 2026August 25th, 2026No Comments

Jawapan pantas

Most phones that won’t charge are NOT a broken port, usually it’s just a frayed cable, a dead adapter, or a port clogged with dust/lint. Try another cable + adapter, clean the port with a wooden toothpick, and restart the phone first. But if it only charges when the plug is at a certain angle, the port is loose/bent, or nothing works after trying everything, that’s a sign the charging port is faulty and needs checking.

Phone tak boleh charge memang buat panik, terus fikir kena tukar phone atau port dah rosak. Tapi tunggu dulu.

A phone that won’t charge is genuinely panic-inducing, you immediately think you need a new phone or that the port is dead. But hold on. Many cases are actually just a cable that’s frayed inside or a port packed with pocket lint, and can be sorted in 5 minutes without paying a cent. This article shows the self-check steps in order, and when the problem is genuinely a loose or damaged charging port that needs repair.

Semak sendiri dulu (ikut turutan)

Check it yourself first (in order)

Don’t jump straight to “the port is broken”. Follow these one by one, most of the time, the real cause is in steps 1 to 4:

  1. Cuba cable LAIN. Ini punca #1.Try a DIFFERENT cable. Cables fail internally most often (especially the end that keeps bending). Borrow someone’s cable and test. This is the #1 cause.
  2. Cuba adapter / kepala charger lain. Try a different adapter / charger head. Charger heads can quietly die too. Swap to another adapter you know works.
  3. Cuba punca kuasa lain. Try another power source. Switch to a different wall socket, or charge from a laptop/powerbank. Sometimes it’s the socket or extension at fault, not the phone.
  4. Bersihkan port charge. Guna tusuk gigi kayu (bukan besi/jarum), cungkil perlahan-lahan. Anda mungkin terkejut berapa banyak keluar. Phone kena tutup dulu.Clean the charging port. Pocket lint & dust build up inside the port and stop the cable seating fully. Use a wooden toothpick (never metal/a pin), gently scrape it out. You’ll be surprised how much comes out. Power the phone off first.
  5. Hard-restart phone. Kadang phone “tersangkut” dan tak kenal charger. Restart (iPhone: tekan volume up, volume down, tahan butang sisi sampai logo Apple). Ini clear glitch software.Hard-restart the phone. Sometimes the phone “hangs” and won’t recognise the charger. Restart it (iPhone: press volume up, volume down, then hold the side button until the Apple logo appears). This clears a software glitch.
If it shows charging but slow/intermittent = likely the cable or a dirty port. If there’s no sign at all = the port or battery. For iPhone, try wireless charging, if wireless works but the cable doesn’t, that confirms the port is faulty (not the battery).
⚠️ JANGAN buat ini
⚠️ DON’T do this

Don’t dig the port with metal, a needle, or a pin. A metal pin can bend or short the tiny pins inside the port and cause instant damage. Use a wooden toothpick only. And don’t blow into it with your mouth, saliva gets in and causes corrosion. Use dry air (a blower) if you have one.

Bila masalah = PORT CHARGE rosak (kena baiki)

When the problem = a faulty CHARGING PORT (needs repair)

Kalau dah cuba semua cable, adapter, soket, bersih port dan restart tapi masih tak boleh charge, puncanya bukan lagi aksesori, tapi port charge sendiri. Ini tanda-tandanya:

If you’ve tried every cable, adapter, socket, cleaned the port and restarted but it still won’t charge, the cause is no longer an accessory, it’s the charging port itself. These are the signs:

Kalau iPhone anda memaparkan mesej “Liquid Detected” pada port pengecas, itu isu berlainan dengan langkah berlainan, lihat liquid detected in charging port.

If your iPhone shows a “Liquid Detected” alert on the charging port, that is a different issue with different steps, see liquid detected in charging port.

Tanda port charge rosak:
Signs of a faulty charging port:

Port longgar / cable senang tercabut, cable tak “klik” ketat macam dulu.
Port bengkok atau berkarat, selalunya lepas phone kena air; pin dalam nampak hijau/hitam.
Langsung tak charge lepas cuba semua, cable + adapter + soket lain semua tak jalan.
Port sangat panas masa charge, bahagian bawah phone panas melampau = isu port/pin.

Only charges at a certain angle, you have to push or hold the cable up/down for it to connect. The port is loose.
Port is loose / the cable falls out easily, the cable no longer “clicks” in snugly.
Port is bent or corroded, often after the phone got wet; the pins inside look green/black.
No charge at all after trying everything, another cable + adapter + socket all fail.
Port gets very hot while charging, the bottom of the phone gets extremely hot = a port/pin issue.
Wireless works, cable doesn’t (iPhone), strong proof it’s the port, not the battery.
Won’t charge + won’t power on at all, could be the battery or the board, needs a diagnosis to be sure.

Often, a loose port or one clogged with build-up is solved by replacing the charging port, this is routine work and doesn’t mean you need a new phone. If the phone won’t power on at all, it may be the battery or board, and a diagnosis will pinpoint which. The key point: don’t assume the worst, many “broken ports” are really just dust or a cable.

FAQ

Macam mana nak tahu port charge rosak atau cuma cable? How do I know if it’s the charging port or just the cable?

Cuba cable + adapter lain dulu.

Try another cable + adapter first. If a different cable charges, the cable was the problem. If every cable fails, or it only charges at a certain angle, it’s most likely the port. For iPhone, if wireless charging works but the cable doesn’t, that confirms the port.

Boleh ke bersihkan port charge sendiri? Can I clean the charging port myself?

Kalau lepas bersih masih tak charge, kena diagnosis.

Yes, and it often solves it. Power off the phone, use a wooden toothpick (not metal or a pin), gently scrape out the dust and lint. Don’t blow into it with your mouth as saliva can cause corrosion. If it still won’t charge after cleaning, it needs a diagnosis.

Berapa kos tukar port charge? How much does a charging port replacement cost?

At Chamo, a charging port replacement is confirmed after a free diagnosis (genuine-grade), with a warranty of 1 month (Incell/OLED) or 3 months (OEM/Ori) and an RM30 fee if we cannot fix it. The diagnosis is free first, if the cause is only dust or a cable, you pay nothing.

The phone won’t charge and won’t turn on at all, port or battery?

It could be either. If there’s no sign of life at all, the battery may be fully dead or there’s a board issue, not necessarily the port. A free diagnosis will pinpoint which before anything is repaired.
